About us
Humane, individualised and specialised support
GéroStim-Expertise provides specialised home-based gerontological support in Monaco and on the French Riviera, for elderly individuals living with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease or related neurocognitive disorders, their family carers and home-care agencies.
Our support is based on non-pharmacological approaches: cognitive stimulation, maintaining autonomy, well-being and social connection. It is carried out by DIATTA Nestor Ambroise, Gerontology Care Assistant (ASG) and state-registered care assistant, based in Cagnes-sur-Mer.

Every care journey begins with an initial evaluation, followed by workshops or reinforced support sessions, tailored to individual needs.
Home PASA workshop
2-hour workshops inspired by PASA methods, held at home: cognitive stimulation, independence, mobility and well-being.

A founder with hands-on experience
DIATTA Nestor Ambroise, Director and founder of GéroStim-Expertise, is a Gerontology Care Assistant (ASG) and state-registered care assistant.

- State-registered care assistant, trained at the IFSI of the Princess Grace Hospital Centre in Monaco
- Gerontology Care Assistant (ASG), trained at the IFSI of the CHU de Cannes Simone Veil
- Nearly two years in adapted living units (UVA) within the DOMUSVI group

What is home-based gerontological support?
Home-based gerontological support is specialised support for elderly people, delivered in their own homes, drawing on non-pharmacological approaches to stimulate preserved abilities, encourage independence and support their quality of life. At GéroStim-Expertise, it is designed in particular for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease or related conditions.
It begins with an initial evaluation, followed by personalised workshops or periods of enhanced support, coordinated with family carers and home-care providers.
Do your services replace medical care?
No. GéroStim-Expertise services complement home care: they do not constitute medical treatment and replace neither medical procedures, nor regulated nursing care, nor routine follow-up by the individual's healthcare professionals. They aim to provide stimulation, encourage independence, promote well-being and maintain social connection.
Emergencies and medical care fall within the remit of qualified professionals and services: in an emergency, call 15 or 112.
How does the initial evaluation work? Is it a diagnosis?
The initial evaluation is a 1.5-hour gerontological assessment in the home, used to identify preserved cognitive and functional abilities, observe daily routines and interests, and identify helpful adaptations to the living environment. It is not a medical diagnosis.
It results in a recommendations report provided to the agency and authorised relatives, alongside a timetable of tailored workshops.
